1Co 7:17 And don't be wishing you were someplace else or with someone else. Where you are right now is God's place for you. Live and obey and love and believe right there. God, not your marital status, defines your life. Don't think I'm being harder on you than on the others. I give this same counsel in all the churches.
If your stuck in a rut, stop wishing things were better. Wishing is the lazy way to go about things. God has you where you are for a specific purpose. So stop groaning and start living: in your pain, in your trials, in your crappy life. The fact is, that no life with Christ is crappy. In fact, a wonderfull life without Christ pails in comparison to a crappy life with Him. So don't just admit this truth, embrace it and live! The minute we stop focusing on things like "I wish it was now like it was then" or "No one likes me, I want to go somewhere else" and just start living lives of servitude filled with Christ's love, we are freed. Its because living a life wide open leaves little room for inner focus. Let God focus on you, and start focusing on others...
